How we look after your information

Moanamind runs small wellbeing retreats on the island of Procida, Italy. We are the data controller for the information you share with us through this website. If you have a question about your data, write to contact@moanamind.com. A postal address can be added on request.

We only collect what we need to answer you, run your booking, and — if you asked — send the occasional letter. In practice that means:

• Enquiries. Your name, email, and the message you send through our contact form.
• Newsletter. The email address you give us when you subscribe.
• Bookings. Guest names, contact details, dietary or accessibility notes, and payment confirmations from our payment processor (we never see your card number).
• Account. If you sign in to the guest area, your email and any messages you send our team.

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, send the retreat details you asked for, manage your booking before and during your stay, and — only if you subscribed — send our occasional newsletter. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to profile or target you with advertising.

We rely on your consent for the newsletter and non-essential cookies, on the performance of a contract to manage your booking, and on our legitimate interests to reply to enquiries and keep the website secure.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the retreat, each under a written agreement and only for the purpose we engage them for:

• Hosting & database — for running this site and storing bookings.
• Stripe — to process payments securely.
• Email delivery provider — to send transactional and newsletter emails.

We do not transfer your data outside the EEA except where a provider relies on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

We use a small set of cookies to keep the site working and to remember your preferences. You can read the full list, the legal basis, and how to change your choices on our Cookies Policy page, or reopen the consent panel at any time.

We keep enquiry messages for up to 24 months, booking records for as long as required by tax and accounting law, and newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request.

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, or to withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@moanamind.com and we will reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
